  • Dried plums are obtained by taking the moisture contained in plum fruit. This drying process, which can also be done at home, is very troublesome, so many people prefer to get and consume dry plums ready. Two different methods can be used for drying all fruits, baking and sun drying. During the baking method, fruits are purified from their seeds and kept in ovens at high temperatures for a long time. During this period, due to the effect of heat, the moisture in the fruit evaporates and the fruit is dried. In the sun drying method, the fruits are purified from the seeds and then kept under sunlight in a hygienic environment for about a week. Due to the influence of sunlight and heat, the moisture contained in the fruit evaporates and dry fruit is obtained. Drying the fruit does not harm the nutritional values it contains. Fruits with natural sugar do much less harm to health and balance blood sugar compared to artificial sweeteners. Therefore, dried fruits are perfect snacks and snacks.
